Privacy Policy
Ten Bad Pages is published by Broad Eye Solutions LLC. This page explains what we collect when you use tenbadpages.com, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
Analytics and attribution. We use PostHog to see which pages people read, where visits come from (the site that sent you and any campaign tags on the link you followed), and whether a visit ends in a purchase. PostHog keeps a random identifier in your browser (a cookie and local storage) and receives your device and browser type, the pages you visit, what you click on them, and your IP address, which it uses to estimate a rough location. We use it to decide what to write next and where to share it, not to show you ads. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, or you opt out on our Do Not Sell or Share page, it does not load at all.
Your email address, but only if you give it to us: by signing up for email, or by writing to us. We use it to send what you asked for, the newsletter and the occasional note about new pieces and workbooks, and to reply. You can unsubscribe from any email we send.
Purchase information, if you buy a download. Payment is handled by our payment processor. We never receive or store your full card number. We do receive your email address, the item bought and the amount, so we can deliver the file and handle refunds.
Links to other shops. When you follow a link to another site, what that site does is covered by its own privacy policy.
Who else handles it
Only the companies that run the site for us: PostHog (analytics, stored in the US), Cloudflare (hosting and delivering the pages and media), and our email provider when we send you email. They process it on our behalf and not for their own purposes.
What we do not do
We do not sell your email address. We do not share it with other publishers or list brokers.
How long we keep it
Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in the analytics account.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email, ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may also have a right to opt out of targeted advertising — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Write to [email protected].
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
